Ruggedized for the world of real work, the A25 meets Military Standard 810-F and
IP67 Standards. Drop it in a puddle or throw it in the dirt, it keeps working like
you do when you need it most.
Operating on a Windows Mobile 6.0 platform, the A25 allows access to powerful
administrative functionality and location based applications while working in the
field. The A25 also has a dedicated Emergency button for any instance where help
is needed immediately. In combination with the Airosled accessory, the A25 is able
to gather RFID, Mag Stripe and/or Bar Code data.
Housing
The A25 housing is comprised of Lexan, a lightweight material that allows the
device to maintain its ruggedness. One of the most distinctive attributes of Lexan
is its high impact strength. Few other engineering plastics can match its ability
to stand up to hard knocks in very cold or very hot temperatures. The Lexan housing
on the A25 is shatter-resistant and virtually unbreakable. Lexan resin adds
toughness and durability to the A25, allowing the lighter weight device to
maintain the necessary safety and security standards customers need.
The physical advantages of Lexan resin begin with its strength and light weight
and extend to its resistance to the elements of heat and cold, water, and weather,
confirming the A25 IP67 and MIL-STD 810F/G ratings.
