Pressing and holding the Emergency Rescue button launches the A25 into action. With its
integrated GPS and dedicated Emergency Rescue button, the A25 will
immediately place a call to your Network Operations Center or Emergency
Response Service call center and simultaneously transmit your location.
The Airo A25 is configured to communicate with our middleware server,
which interprets the activity on the handset or more specifically identifies
that the Emergency Rescue function has been activated. The server initiates
priority routing of the users location to your designated response center
while maintaining the emergency voice call. Monitoring your current
location with an accuracy of less than 5 meters, the A25 continuously
sends your GPS location during the entire call.
Why did we create this dedicated function into the A25? Simple, why not.
If someone in your workforce has an emergency, a flat tire, an automobile
accident or a medical crisis, the A25 handset is there to provide quick
communication while transmitting accurate location information.
Unlike other GSM handsets, the A25 and its dedicated Emergency Rescue
function enables continual voice communications throughout a crisis
situation while maintaining a nearly constant stream of the user's location.
Enhancing the safety of your workforce is just another way Airo Wireless
is focused on your mobile communications.
Note: Emergency rescue services are provided by independent third
parties and NOT Airo Wireless. Downloading the emergency rescue application
to your handset does NOT enable emergency rescue services. You must sign
up with an emergency rescue service for the application to be functional.
For this Emergency Rescue button/function to work properly, your A25 must be
powered on, unlocked, have a good GPRS connection and a strong GPS signal.
